LooseKeys had the opportunity to collaborate with Simian Design on a lyric music video for Memphis rapper Moneybagg Yo's song "Said Sum". This single was released on June 30th 2020, and is Moneybagg Yo's highest-charting song as a lead artist.
Our goal for this video was to create something bright and bold to play off the artist's Bread Gang Clothing line. We wanted each layout of type to feel like you might see it on a shirt or artwork that you could see tossed up in the alley.
Most of the art was created in Procreate on the iPad to bring this lyric video to life, including the typeface and most illustrations. In addition, the LooseKeys team created a few additional elements in Cinema 4D to match the 2D art style created in Procreate.
